My name is Marie Aquino and I was raised in San Jose my entire life. I am the oldest sibling in my family with a younger sister. I spend majority of my time on my laptop listening to music, talking with my friends, and browsing social media. I am a freshman at SJSU majoring in Journalism. I am going to do my best to make sure my family and I live comfortably. My first step is getting my Journalism degree.
My entire high school life, I have thought I should be an engineer because that was what my family suggested I should do. As time went by, I realized that it was wrong, and I should be doing something else. I have always been interested in writing, but I never thought of having a career in Journalism until recently. I always thought it would be interesting to interview different celebrities when they release new content such as movies or TV shows. I watched a lot of mini documentaries on YouTube and I wanted to try something like that and travel to different places and meet new people.
